Why Use
a Primer?
Certain substrates, particularly steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum castings, require more than a single-coat system to achieve durable long-term performance. A powder primer acts as the foundation layer, improving adhesion, providing a corrosion barrier, and resolving substrate-specific issues before topcoat is applied.
IFS primers are all epoxy-based and compatible with IFS topcoat chemistries. Custom formulations are available, so contact the team to discuss specific requirements.
