Traditional powder coating requires high cure temperatures that are too high for wood, MDF, and other heat-sensitive materials. PureClad changes that. A revolutionary low-temperature cure chemistry means you can now benefit from the durability, sustainability, and finishing quality of powder on a whole new range of substrates.

Low-Temperature Cure

PureClad cures at 265°F in a catalytic IR oven, sufficiently low to accommodate standard MDF and many natural wood materials without damage. Total coating and curing takes around 10 minutes.

Non-Metal Application

Purpose-engineered for heat-sensitive substrates. PureClad overcomes the traditional barriers to powder coating wood: moisture content, non-conductivity, and expansion and contraction over time.

Environmental Advantage

No solvents means negligible VOC emissions. Powder can be reclaimed and reused for near-zero waste. No hazardous waste in manufacture or application. The environmentally responsible choice.

Superior application characteristics with excellent flow for a beautiful, uniform finish. Single coat with great sandability and outstanding durability.

Primer

PureClad Primer

Adds technical performance to your finish. Parts can be primed, stored, then sanded or shipped for coating later, ideal for production flexibility.
