Super Durable Polyester
Super durable polyester is a step up from standard polyester powder, engineered for applications where long-term exterior exposure is a requirement, not just a consideration. Enhanced resin chemistry delivers significantly improved UV resistance and color retention.
Both TGIC and TGIC-free formulations are available. Exterior durability and color retention performance are equivalent across both types, ensuring great performance and color no matter what you choose.

Salt & Humidity Resistance
Formulated to pass strict salt spray and humidity testing, these super durable polyesters maintain finish integrity and corrosion protection for longer than a standard polyester.
AAMA 2604 Eligible
IFS super durables can meet and exceed the performance requirements of AAMA 2604, the architectural specification for exterior performance coatings. Commonly used on storefront, fencing and exterior architectural metalwork.

- Restricted cure and gloss range
- Less overbake resistance than TGIC
- More prone to corrosion with inadequate pre-treatment
