Food Equipment Compliance (NSF 51)

NSF/ANSI 51 establishes minimum public health and sanitation requirements for materials used in commercial food equipment. IFS NSF 51 approved powders are formulated so the cured film will not adulterate food or make equipment difficult to clean and sanitize, a baseline requirement for any food-contact coating.

Potable Water Compliance (NSF 61)

NSF/ANSI 61 covers materials and coatings used in equipment that contacts potable water or supports its production. IFS NSF 61 approved powders are certified for use in fittings, pumps, tanks, and valve applications, with eight specific approved formulas available in epoxy and hybrid chemistries.

NSF 51
Food Equipment Materials

Establishes minimum public health and sanitation requirements for materials used in the construction of commercial food equipment. Coatings must not adulterate food or render food equipment difficult to clean and sanitize. Required for food-contact surfaces in commercial kitchens, food processing, and beverage manufacturing.
NSF 61
Drinking Water System Components

Applies to materials and coatings used in equipment that contacts potable water or supports its production. IFS NSF 61 certified products are approved for fittings, pumps, tanks, and valve applications, with eight color formulas tested and listed on the NSF product database.
